Ricoh India Ltd., announced the launch of its new digital SLR camera-PENTAX KP. The D-SLR features an APS-C sized CMOS image sensor, supported by approximately 24.32 megapixels and sensitivity ranging up to ISO 819200. It is equipped with a 5-axis shake-reduction system, an electronically controlled shutter unit for super-high-speed shooting at 1/24000 second and an optical viewfinder with nearly 100% field of view. The Pentax KP is dustproof, weather-resistant and can endure temperatures as low as -10°C. It can also capture high-resolution Full HD movie clips in the H-264 recording format. It is equipped with a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with a vertical tilt function, a Real-time Scene Analysis System and a High-speed 27-point autofocus system with the SAFOX 11 module. The PENTAX KP provides a range of customisation features, such as a grip replacement system to personalise the camera's grip to accommodate the photographer's shooting style or a mounted lens. Nintendo Co. announced the launch of a palmsized version of its hugely successful Super Famicom game console, in the Japanese market. The game which was originally launched in the year 1990 will be recreated as the 'Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom' and it will be available with 21 preloaded titles including the immensely popular 'Super Mario World'. More popular games such as 'Platoon' are also expected to be launched soon. The revival model will have two controllers as the original model. The gaming console will be available from October 5th onwards for an expected street price of of 7,980 yen. The company will launch the recreated console in Europe and the United States on September 29th and in Australia on September 30th, 2017, prior to its launch in the domestic market.
Canon India Pvt. Ltd., unveiled the highly anticipated EOS 6D Mark II, featuring a 26.2 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor. Equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF and DIGIC 7 image processor, the EOS 6D Mark II possesses a continuous shooting speed of up to 6.5 fps.
