Samsung India launched the Samsung Galaxy On Max, a device which is equipped with a camera that specialises in low-light photography. Powered by a 2.39GHZ, 1.69GHz Octa-Core processor, the smartphone comes with a 3,300mAH battery and 4GB RAM. It has 32GB internal memory and a micro-SD slot (expandable up to 256GB). | Galaxy On Max features a 5.7" FHD display and metal uni-body | design.The Galaxy On Max comes with a 13MP (front and rear) camera and features its flagship f/1.7 aperture on the rear camera. The Social Camera Mode in the On Max allows users to click pictures with live stickers and filters that can be edited and shared instantly. The smartphone also features Samsung Pay Mini, a safe and secured payment system. The cost of Galaxy On Max is INR 16,900, and it is exclusively available on Flipkart in Black and Gold colour variants.
Nintendo Co. announced the launch of a palmsized version of its hugely successful Super Famicom game console, in the Japanese market. The game which was originally launched in the year 1990 will be recreated as the 'Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom' and it will be available with 21 preloaded titles including the immensely popular 'Super Mario World'. More popular games such as 'Platoon' are also expected to be launched soon. The revival model will have two controllers as the original model. The gaming console will be available from October 5th onwards for an expected street price of of 7,980 yen. The company will launch the recreated console in Europe and the United States on September 29th and in Australia on September 30th, 2017, prior to its launch in the domestic market.
ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C38 recently launched the 712 kg Cartosat-2 Series Satellite along with 30 copassenger satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. This event marked thirty ninth consecutively successful mission of PSLV. One of the 30 co-passenger satellites carried by PSLV-C38 was CE-SAT 1, a fifty-kilogram (110 lb) microsatellite built by Canon Electronics, Japan. Canon will use the spacecraft to demonstrate a high-resolution imaging system in orbit, with a ground resolution of up to one meter (3 feet). About 60% of components of the satellite are manufactured by Canon, and the company targets a 100% inhouse production in the near future. The company also plans to sell the satellites, related components and the image data collected by the CE-SAT 1. The small-size satellites are expected to be sold for 1 million yen (approximately).
